Magic sampler

Located between a seventeenth century Phantasmagoria session, a 1920's constructivist movie production, a marionette show and a magic ritual, Telefante is a kind of electronic Lanterna Magica. Mixing different sorts of audiovisual and plastic elements, Telefante is also a carton-made Combinatoria machine.

Bodies without head
Heads without body

Taking as starting point the secret community Acephale founded in the 30's by George Bataille and Pierre Klossowsky, this project explores different histories that, in one hand, deal with the aesthetic pleasure produced by bodies without head, or heads without body in literature, painting, film, magic, religion, etc. In the other hand, it looks for ideas and philosophies that structure themselves around the image of a beheaded body: a state without a central government, a thought without brain, a research without method, a religion without god, and so on.

As if they were watching you

Education as an specific kind of technology for production of subjects and construction of subjectivities (as it is exposed by Michel Foucault in "Discipline and Punishment"), is used here as a nodal point for a series of multimedia works (video, interactive applications, installation, collages).
